What we collect

Dealbusterz collects minimal data to understand how the game is used:

  • Analytics: Page views and interactions are collected via Google Analytics (GA4) and Vercel Analytics. Google Analytics is configured in cookieless mode — no GA cookies are set on your device.
  • Game play data: When you play, we store your price guesses and other gameplay data anonymously in our database. No personally identifiable information is collected.
  • Local storage: Your game state is saved in your browser's local storage so you can resume a game if you leave. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

How we use it

Analytics data is used solely to understand aggregate gameplay trends. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Sponsored products

Some puzzles include a sponsored product from an advertiser. For sponsored products, we share an anonymous summary of player guesses with the advertiser after the puzzle airs. This summary contains no personally identifiable information and cannot be used to identify individual players.

Dealbusterz itself does not set any first-party cookies. Google Analytics is configured in cookieless mode.

Data retention

Aggregate game play records (with no personal identifiers) are retained indefinitely. Analytics data is retained per the default policies of Google Analytics (26 months) and Vercel Analytics.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no user account data to access, correct, or delete.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
